This is a list of 1980's wrestlers. These are just guys I remember watching wrestling, some back in the days before I even realized it was a staged event. So going from memory here are 10 of my favorites. To make my list, it was also imperative that you had a cool nickname. No character names, just nicknames. So sorry Big Boss Man, Ultimate Warrior, Honky Tonk Man, Sgt. Slaughter, and Undertaker -- that's a list for another day. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat - He seemed to win every match and was always going for the lower titles like the Intercontinental Champion or US Champ or one of the lesser champions. So imagine my surprise when I looked it up. 1-time Intercontinental Champ..that's it. So I liked him, but her really wasn't all that great. Probably didn't do the 'roids Vince McMahon was passing out, so got left out. Just a guess. Now he's a wrestling scout for the WWE "Macho Man" Randy Savage - Ok, this is an obvious pick. I tried to stay away from picking the obvious ones in this list, but one thing put Macho Man over the top. No, not the riduculous Slim Jim commercials...the fact that he always brought out Miss Elizabeth to the ring. As a 11 year old, that was worth watching every Sunday morning. OOOHHHHH YEEEEAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!. Video: Steamboat vs. Macho Man
