5. Bat Boy/Girl- You have to be at least 14 years old to become a bat person. Collecting bats, mudding baseballs, supplying new baseballs to umpires are some of the responsibilities for a bat person. The occasional chore from a player is another duty. You might be washing Albert Pujol's BMW if that's what he wants.

 

 

 

 

 


 

4. Orange Glove Guy- The official title "TV commercial timeout coordinator" aka "Orange Sleeves". This person signals the referees when to call for TV timeouts. He will stand on the sideline holding his giant orange mitten in the air during commercials. He gets to hangout on the sideline watching the game from an unbelievable view.

3. Home run Pyro-Technician- This professional is responsible for launching the fireworks after a home player launches a home run. Day or night they get to watch the game and shoot off fireworks.

 

2. Holding the Down marker- This official is responsible for holding the down marker to inform players and coaches what down it is. This is a real job. Wonder how you apply.
